More Canning and a Finished Room!

My mother-in-law was kind enough to save me a few pounds of tomatoes this year and I was able to make spaghetti sauce.  I really do love canning.  It is one of the few stereotypical 'female/wife' activities that I actually enjoy.  As opposed to doing laundry, which is the bane of my existence.  I was able to get 6 pints out of the few pounds of tomatoes, and I am really pleased with how it turned out.

In other news, we have finally finished a room!  We got the pictures hung last night, and I found the rugs and the curtain.  This is our main bathroom!

And, as requested, I also have a picture of the entire front of the house.  Next spring we will be repainting the exterior to either dark green or dark red.  We will see which we prefer.
We're getting stuff done and it's coming right along.  We have a party at the end of the month, so we are trying to get the house presentable for that.  I will make another post as soon as I have another room done.  I'm actually almost done with the master bedroom.  Unfortunately midterms have been getting in the way of unpacking.

Speaking of midterms, I have gotten two of my three back.  I got 87/100 on my weeds lecture midterm, which is a B+, and 245/240 on my annuals midterm.  Yep!  I have gotten 100% or better on all of my tests in that class.  I am rather proud of myself.  I am doing just as well in my food science class.  I am really looking forward to having two A's on my transcript again.

I have decided to change my major.  I don't do very well in science classes, and it isn't really what I want to do.  So instead of Plant Science, I am changing to Residential Landscape Design and Construction.  That way I will have the design background for doing floral design and I will have a viable career option when I graduate.  One which it will be possible to do from home once I have children.

That's all for the news from us!  I will post another room and the results from my final midterm as soon as I have them.  Hope all is well with everyone.  We think of you frequently!
