One More Time...

Michael and I went house hunting on Friday.  We found a house that needs A LOT of cleaning done, but is in really good condition otherwise.  We put in an offer that night, and it was accepted Saturday.  We will be closing on August 18, if all goes well, and then we will spend the next month and a half cleaning and doing some minor reapirs before we move in at the end of September.  We will post pictures as soon as we close.  We don't want to get ahead of ourselves this time.  Let's hope this one works out!

Life Goes On

Michael and I are currently living in a 3 bedroom apartment on the west side of town.  Although we are not really happy to be there, we have been able to find some redeeming qualities (like the pool).  We continue the house search, but no prospects so far.

It is hot as hades here in Logan.  Into the 90's everyday, and that's sometimes in the shade.  We're supposed to have cloud cover next week, so lets hope in that direction.  School is going alright, I'm passing my classes so far.  Work is also going well, at least for me.  Michael has been to several training meetings over the last few weeks in preparation for the switch to room service.  He's having to learn almost an entirely new way to communicate with the nurses and floors.  It's pretty exciting.

In the absence of reliable internet, Michael and I have been reading instead of watching TV.  I have read over 1000 pages since we moved and Michael is right behind me with over 900.  At least going to the library gets us out of the house. :)

We are going to Michael's family reunion next weekend, so we will have pictures and stories from there when we get back.
